Acenda Integrated Health: Steps Towards Independence (STI)
Steps Towards Independence (STI) is a transitional, supportive housing program that assists homeless youth, especially youth leaving the child welfare system, with life skills and support services to make a successful transition to self-sufficient living and to prevent long-term dependency on social services.

Crawford House: Halfway House for Women
Crawford House offers an intensive, comprehensive and highly individualized six-month treatment program. In addition to counseling, educational classes and employment readiness services, the program also emphasizes gaining experience in life skills management, such as budgeting, parenting, nutrition and stress management. Residents learn new, beneficial behaviors and healthy ways of coping.

Frenchtown Presbyterian Food Pantry
The Food Pantry at Frenchtown Presbyterian provides help to anyone who is in need of food and other basic staples. Non-perishable foods such as canned soups, vegetables, and fruits; household goods such as laundry detergent and toilet tissue; as well as fresh butter, eggs and cheese are stocked. The pantry receives donations from the Sunday School, other local churches, schools, scout groups, and other local organizations.

Based on the clients’ preferences and requirements, they are referred to suitable clients. The Provider receives the names of appropriate Seekers and the Seeker receives the first name and phone numbers of several suitable Providers. The Provider’s anonymity is always protected. S/he decides if, when and where to meet the Seeker. HomeSharing doesn’t “place” people in homes. We provide clients with screened applicants which enable them to decide for themselves who to live with.

Interfaith Hospitality Network of Somerset County
The Interfaith Hospitality Network of Somerset County serves homeless families with children in a three-phase approach to combat homelessness. Religious congregations and volunteers are the backbone of the agency, providing shelter, meals, financial support and advocacy. The St. John's Outreach Ministry has been in existence and active for many years under different names. During that time, assistance has been provided to those in need in the areas of medical, utilities, food, clothing, transportation and many other areas. Funding for these services is provided to the society basically from parishioner contributions to the “poor boxes” as well as direct donations.
LEAGUE Foundation LGBTQ Scholarship
The LEAGUE Foundation provides financial resources for America’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender high school seniors entering their first year of institutions of higher learning. The scholarship application opens annually in January and closes in April with awards distributed in the summer of each year.

The Hunterdon County LINK Transportation System provides transportation services to ALL residents of Hunterdon County, NJ. Funding for operation of the LINK is provided by the Hunterdon County Board of Chosen Freeholders, NJ TRANSIT and the Federal Transit Administration.
The Hunterdon County LINK Transportation System is comprised of a variety of services including “scheduled route” services, “demand response” services, and customized transportation services and assistance.
Living Water Church (New Beginnings Food Pantry)
Living Water Church also reaches out a hand up to those who have everyday needs on the third Saturday of each month at a new time, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The New Beginnings Food Pantry is open to the public for all those in need of assistance with food and groceries. Residents of Mount Olive, Hackettstown, Chester, Long Valley and the surrounding tri-county area are welcome to visit LWC and receive a free shopping cart full of groceries for the family. Patrons are given an opportunity to shop and choose their groceries from a variety of food products, including frozen chicken, meats, foods, cereals, condiments, snack foods and personal care items. Homelessness Prevention Provides limited financial assistance to low- and moderate-income tenants in imminent danger of eviction due to temporary financial problems beyond their control. The Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) is a federal law that, in part, provides housing protections for people applying for or living in units subsidized by the federal government and who have experienced domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking, to help keep them safe and reduce their likelihood of experiencing homelessness.
