SCLSNJ’s Social Work Internship Program

Somerset County Library System of New Jersey (SCLSNJ) partners with Rutgers University School of Social Work to assist Somerset County residents who are in need of social services. The interns are students working towards obtaining their degrees in social work. SCLSNJ interns are available to connect residents with social services agencies and resources throughout the County.

Interns will work with the SCLSNJ from October through early December 2021, and again early January through mid-April 2022 at the locations listed below. Hours of availability vary; please review the the intern schedules and flyers listed below for more information. Scheduling options are available now for in-person or virtual support as well as support by phone.
