Middle Earth

Our mission is to provide individuals, primarily youth, with prevention, intervention, and crisis services to help them to develop into responsible and productive members of the community.

Middle Earth has been working with middle and high school children during their out-of-school time for 40 years. Our caring staff builds trusting relationships with youth to help them make positive decisions, obtain marketable skills for employment, volunteer, improve academics, learn respect, and connect with more services if needed. We strive to ensure that youth receive the support they deserve to be successful in life.

Visions Program
We work with the YES program to serve adolescents ages 16-24 in Somerset and Hunterdon County that face a barrier such as pregnancy, lack of educational involvement, addiction, mental illness, or a learning disability (I.E.P.). We offer classes on employment readiness to teens and young adults. Participants in the program receive a paycheck to attend the classes and will gain experience that will improve their resume.

HOPE Program
Middle Earth's new HOPE Program provides survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking with the life skills and resources necessary to participate in the workforce, enroll in post-secondary education, and live independently.

Eligibility Must be a resident of Somerset County. For the Visions program only: open to Hunterdon County as well.
