While the program is free to residents upon admission, clients must obtain part-time employment after an orientation period. They then contribute a portion of their net salary to help pay for their own treatment.Obtaining employment is emphasized to foster self-worth, economic independence and personal responsibility while becoming sober members of the community.

Crawford House can accommodate up to 22 women at any one time, and serves over 100 women annually. All residents are educated about the disease of addiction and begin working towards their personal treatment goals from the day they arrive.Residents' progress is measured by successful completion of successive 30-day treatment plans.
