New Jersey Quitline

Tobacco-related disease continues to be the number one preventable cause of death in the United States. The NJ Quitline’s trained Quit Coaches provide users with evidence-based strategies and personalized quit tips to help deal with stress, triggers, and potential relapses.

Quit Coaches are trained in working with special populations, including BIPOC and LGBTQ+ individuals. Additionally, qualified users are able to receive two free weeks of nicotine replacement patches to jumpstart the success of their quit attempt. Callers who use Quitline services have a 60% better chance of quitting successfully than quitting on their own.
