Panelists will review online safety and security for both youth and children. Participants will learn about the most used online sites, apps, and patterns of use that we should be aware of and currently available to youth. The presentation will also review the availability of parental controls on Apple and Android devices, a review of popular apps and the safety issues associated with many of these easily accessible sites. In addition, panelists will give an overview of the laws generally connected with online-based crimes as well as local resources for victims of internet crimes.
