JCC Camp Ruach is an extraordinary day camp located at the Shimon and Sara Birnbaum Jewish Community Center on over 14 beautiful acres of land. Our 8-week program offers campers ages 15 months through grade 9 a fun-filled summer!
Each week the campers take part in special events such as: Entertainment, Camp Carnival, JCC Maccabi Games (Camp Olympics), Camp Show and more! Summertime is an opportunity for children to play, experiment and grow with friends.
Programs:
K'Ton (ages 2,3,4 & Entering Kindergarten)
K’ton campers receive a wide variety of age-appropriate programming and activities. The campers have a balanced combination of both outdoor and indoor camp time. We offer various nap-time options and welcome non-potty trained children!
Gadol (Campers Entering Grades 1-3)
Gadol Campers are also able to choose from a list of electives to give them more of a personalized schedule and a chance to explore new activities. The High Ropes Course, Mini-Golf Course, Skateboard Park, Musical Theatre Program and Specialized Sports Clinics are among some of the favorites.
Tzahov (Campers Entering Grades 4-6)
Twice a week, Tzahov Campers go on day trips. Three days a week the campers participate in a combination of group activities and electives on the campsite.
Sababa (Campers Entering Grade 7 and 8)
Sababa is a program designed for campers who wish to enjoy a more traditional day camp experience. Two trips per week and an overnight are included. Spend three days a week at camp enjoying your favorite camp activities such as gaga, high ropes, cooking and swim.
Road Rulz (Campers Entering Grades 7-9)
Road Rulz is our teen travel program for campers entering grades 7-9. These campers have the experience of traveling every day on a combination of day, one night and 4-5 night overnight trips. Campers gain independence and self-esteem while having fun!
Chaverim (Campers Age 3 - Grade 3)
Chaverim is designed for campers with Special Needs who wish to experience a typical summer camp. Programs will be tailored to the campers need. Camp hours adjusted for summer school schedules.
Leadership In Training (LIT Grades 8 & 9)
Leadership in Training Program (LIT) combines learning to be a leader in the community through community service, learning how to work with children, volunteering with the campers and going on a fun trip a week. The campers themselves have a lot to do with the planning of this program to make it just right for them! There is an interview process to enter the program and space is limited.
