Our mission is to provide a safe, healthy and supportive environment for grieving children to heal after the loss of a significant person in their life.

Camp Clover is a four day bereavement day camp designed for children and teens that have lost a loved one. Sponsored by Atlantic Home Care and Hospice, the Camp focuses on children, ages 7 to 15, dealing with the loss of a parent or someone who was very close to them.

Free of charge, Camp Clover offers traditional fun summer camp activities, such as swimming, basketball, arts and crafts, combined with grief education and emotional support. Camp Clover provides a supportive environment where children can express their feelings and share their stories with peers.

With the help of trained staff and volunteers, grieving children are encouraged to participate in activities that help develop healthy coping skills, increase confidence and self-esteem. Surrounded by other children dealing with loss, campers begin to see that they are not alone.

Camp Clover fosters coping skills that will follow children throughout their lives.

In addition, the camp provides:

  • Bus transportation
  • Nutritious lunch and snacks
