Project Self-Sufficiency

The mission of Project Self-Sufficiency of Sussex County is to support and empower low-income individuals and families to improve the quality of life for themselves and for their children through comprehensive family stability and personal and economic self-sufficiency services.

The campus consists of the Selective Insurance Group Career Training & Employment Center, the B. Douglas Gordon & Elizabeth Houskeeper Gordon Family Couseling Center and Little Sprouts Early Learning Center, the Senator Robert E. Littell Family Literacy Center, and a Community Education Center.

Housed within the campus are individual counseling rooms, a legal assistance center, parenting center, a working women's wardrobe, a food pantry, state-of-the-art computer labs, vocational testing and assessment labs, classrooms, and seminar facilities, along with a daycare center and a preschool.
