The mission of the Warren Hills Regional School District’s special education program is achieved through effective programs delivered at each district school and through the partnerships of the larger cluster community. It is the intent of the Warren Hills Regional Special Education department to offer a quality learning experience for students with learning, developmental and mild to moderate behavioral disabilities.

The Warren Hills Regional School District (WHRSD) challenges and empowers a dynamic, diverse student body in a supportive learning environment by providing academic and co-curricular opportunities to become successful, productive members of the global community. The Warren Hills Regional School district is located in a small town surrounded by the sister communities of Franklin, Mansfield, Washington Boro, Washington Township and Oxford whose students we receive and service from grades 7-12. The special education department at the Warren Hills Regional School district is dedicated to the education of children with exceptionalities.

Our developmental disabilities program focuses on helping learners with developmental disabilities and those on the spectrum build self-care and age appropriate life skills, as appropriate. Students benefit from Applied Behavior Analysis support; Language and Communicative Expression; art, music and many other educational opportunities community based instruction which focuses on integrating the community through service learning, life skills trips and social engagement through routine learning without walls trips.
