Stepping Stone School

Our mission is to provide a highly structured therapeutic and nurturing environment for students with various handicaps who demonstrate difficulties adjusting to the demands of the public school setting. We strive to meet our students' social, emotional and academic needs and assist their parents/guardians in the process.

Serving Children and Adolescents with Emotional Disorders, Learning Disabilities, Multiple Disabilities, Autism Spectrum, Developmental Delays, Health Impairments, Speech and Language Impairments, ADD, ADHD. 

Stepping Stone School is a New Jersey State approved private school for educationally handicapped students. Students are referred to Stepping Stone in collaboration with the Child Study Team and parents of the sending public schools. The child's home district is responsible for the tuition of the child attending. 

Individualized instruction through small class settings with a special education teacher and at least one full time aide in each room.
