The objectives of Somerville Recreation are to develop an appreciation for the thrill of sports and games, the wonder of nature, the beauty of art, the language of music, the dynamics of drama; to develop a sensitive understanding of the needs of all people and a concern for their adjustment, happiness and fulfillment through leisure activities.
