GROUP THERAPY FOR KIDS & TEENS

Group Goals
Over the course of 6 sessions, this therapy program provides a safe, supportive space for small groups of kids or teens to develop strategies for distancing themselves from unhelpful thoughts and managing overactive stress responses. The goal is to help participants feel better, improve interpersonal relationships, and build greater resilience.
Program Design
Based on the principles of Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), this group aims to promote psychological well-being in young people by teaching effective coping strategies and essential skills for emotional and behavioral regulation. Through age-appropriate activities, guided discussions, and multimedia tools, participants will have the opportunity to practice these foundational skills as they are introduced, helping them apply them in real-life situations.
