The Eating Disorders Program at Goryeb Children's Hospital is the only multidisciplinary program in New Jersey exclusively for children and adolescents. Our program offers education and treatment for anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and related disorders in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Services include:
Medical consultation and care
Nutrition assessment and counseling
Psychiatric consultation and treatment
Psychosocial consultation and treatment
Intensive outpatient program (eight hours per week, after-school program)
Medical monitoring
Nutritional counseling
Individual and group psychotherapy
Multifamily group therapy
Therapeutic meals
Creative arts therapy
Family therapy, as needed
Psychiatric care, as needed
Partial hospitalization program (40 hours per week)
