THRIVE Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program

Serving adolescents 12-18 (18 if still in high school while in program)
** After school program **

Adolescents struggling with:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Suicidal Thoughts
  • Self HarmHomicidal Thoughts
  • Mood Disorders
  • Substance Use

Services:

  • Comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment with a licensed therapist
  • Group counseling and a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation with a licensed psychiatrist
  • Clients attend 3-4 days of group sessions weekly and multifamily groups (weekly) to aid in supporting their family. Learn how to be effectively supportive and aid in the growth of your child.

Group Sessions Include

  • CBT & DBT skills (cognitive behavioral therapy & dialectical behavioral therapy)
  • ACT skills (acceptance and commitment therapy)
  • Art therapy
  • Recreational therapy
  • LGBTQ+ affirming therapists
  • Psychoeducation on issues with substance use
  • Develop coping skills
  • Learn to manage symptoms

Admission Criteria

  • Your adolescent requires more structure and support than is provided via individual therapy, or they are transitioning from an acute care setting (Inpatient or Partial Hospitalization)
  • Your adolescent is willing to participate in group treatment and abide by the program policies and rules
  • The family is willing to commit to participation in the Intake Assessment, weekly family sessions, and the treatment and discharge planning process
  • Your adolescent has been diagnosed with a DSM-5 Diagnosis
  • Your adolescent has a co-existing substance abuse issue, but not a primary diagnosis of dependence
