Pre-Employment Training / Life Skills Class (Initial 6-weeks only)

skills identification, personality assessment, and goal setting

career exploration, resume writing, job applications, interviewing skills, on the job skills, and employment assistance, job shadowing

Problem solving, communication skills, financial literacy

Continuing education / vocational training, job-shadowing, apprenticeships financial aid assistance
High School Equivalency Test Instruction (program covers testing costs)
Continuous individualized instruction, GED test (High School Equivalency Test)
Topics:

individualized, based on assessments of abilities

individualized educational plan and assistance in social studies, science, math, literature/arts reading and writing
Job Search / Caree Assistance / Follow Along
Ongoing as needed (minimum of 1 year following successful completion of program)
Topics: -
Employment counseling, job development, and employment resources continued educational / vocational training information and support
Intake Interview - Completion of required paperwork with JAM staff
