2022 Holiday Hands program of Hunterdon United Way

United Way of Hunterdon County (UWHC) is preparing for its 2022 Holiday Hands program. We look forward to seeing everyone participating in Holiday Hands and hope you are staying healthy and safe!

HOW WILL THE PROGRAM RUN THIS YEAR? • Children between the ages of 13 to 17 can choose one of two options:

  1.  Shop at our Holiday Hands Gift Shop and select items of your choice, or
  2.  Receive a $50 gift card.
  • Children 12 and under must select items from the Holiday Hands Gift Shop.
  • Adults 18 and up can choose to receive a $25 gift card or shop at the Holiday Hands Gift Shop.
  • Participants must come in person to receive their items or gift cards. We are no longer able to deliver. HOW CAN MY FAMILY PARTICIPATE?
  • Your head of household will call the United Way Volunteer Center (908) 237-1689 to schedule an in-person application appointment. You must appear in person for your scheduled appointment; paper applications will not be accepted.

Documents to bring to your appointment:

  • Photo Identification for Head of Household
  • Children’s birth certificate(s) (if applicable)
  • Proof of Hunterdon County residence (Example: Driver’s license, utility bill, etc.)
  • At your application appointment, you may register children up to age 17 who reside in your household. Adults18 and over will need to schedule their own in-person application appointment.
  • At your application appointment, you will schedule a date/time in December to select gifts for your family at our Holiday Hands Gift Shop, which our donors will generously stock.
