Somerset County Diversity Festival

Somerset County is hosting its annual free Diversity Festival in Somerville on Grove  and Main Streets, in front of the Historic Courthouse.

Sunday, October 16, 2022 • 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Anyone and everyone are welcome!  It's free fun for the family! Enjoy music, activities, and games for all ages. 

Join us for: 

  • Exhibits offering diversity-related materials and information.
  • Interactive stations focusing on diversity and inclusion.
  • Performance artists showcased on two stages located near the historic fountain on the corner of Main and Grove Streets and in Veterans Plaza.
  • Free parking will be available at the Bernie Field Parking Deck located off of High Street, and at the parking deck located at 27 Warren St. 

Current Schedule of Performances:

  • 12:00 - 12:45 pm - Zydeco Revelators
  • 12:45 - 1:00 pm - Opening ceremony, with maybe Pipe and Drum
  • 1:00 - 1:10 pm - Anya Goel
  • 1:10 - 1:45 pm - Indian Fusion
  • 1:45 - 2:30 pm - Jazz Duo, Ryan Bernero and Cailin Marie
  • 2:30 - 2:45 pm - Qin Yang Dance Group
  • 2:45 - 3:15 pm - Vocal Synergy
  • 3:45 - 4:00 pm - Swing Combo Salsa Band

The Diversity Festival is sponsored by the Somerset County Board of County Commissioners with the cooperation of the Somerville Downtown alliance, and Made possible by funds from the Somerset County Cultural & Heritage Commission, a partner of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.
