Mission
HH bALLers' mission is to provide additional opportunities for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities to HOOP! Our clinic is designed to create an environment that nurtures self- confidence, sportsmanship, and friendship through basketball. Additionally, we aim to develop social skills and foster increased participation, interaction, and engagement amongst our athletes. Our organization hopes to raise community awareness for continued inclusion, acceptance, and opportunity for individuals with disabilities.

Program Director
Coach Andrea Veres-Stare will be leading all HHbALLers clinics. Coach Andrea is a licensed Speech -Language Therapist and previously played basketball for East Stroudsburg University. She has over 6 years of experience in the field of speech therapy and currently works as a speech therapist at a local Middle School.

Program Details
HH bALLers is specifically designed to create a positive and uplifting physical and social experience for individuals with disabilities through basketball. Clinics are open to all skill levels, and do not require any previous basketball experience. Clinics will include basketball skill building drills for dribbling, passing, shooting and will also incorporate group play and simulated basketball game situations. Additionally, clinics will encourage all athletes to move their bodies through stretching, walking, running, and calisthenics.  All athletes will be paired with a buddy (1:1, 2:1, 3:1). Basketball buddies will help encourage development of basketball skills while also promoting a positive social experience. Most importantly, clinics are designed to promote a non-competitive and UNITED experience.

Parents and guardians will be asked to complete a Get To Know My Baller form (emailed after registration) which will help assist staff in meeting each player's needs.

Who Are the Buddies?
Buddies for the HH bALLers clinic will consist of local high school athletes. All basketball buddies share the main goal of providing a uniting, empowering, and positive experience for our ballers.

Other Options
We understand that all not all individuals with disabilities desire specialized programming, therefore we want to also encourage you to check out the other clinics we offer. Click HERE for additional information on Hunter Hoops Training Program.
