Catholic Charities, Diocese of Metuchen, incorporated in 1982, is a non-profit Agency dedicated to service, quality and outreach for members of the community, especially those who are poor, devalued and in need of help. The Agency, which evolved from the Catholic Welfare Bureau of Trenton founded in 1913, provides programs to the four counties of the Diocese of Metuchen with selected services that reach throughout the State of New Jersey.

Frenchtown Presbyterian Food Pantry
The Food Pantry at Frenchtown Presbyterian provides help to anyone who is in need of food and other basic staples. Non-perishable foods such as canned soups, vegetables, and fruits; household goods such as laundry detergent and toilet tissue; as well as fresh butter, eggs and cheese are stocked. The pantry receives donations from the Sunday School, other local churches, schools, scout groups, and other local organizations.

Lambertville Food Pantry
The St. John's Outreach Ministry has been in existence and active for many years under different names. During that time, assistance has been provided to those in need in the areas of medical, utilities, food, clothing, transportation and many other areas. Funding for these services is provided to the society basically from parishioner contributions to the “poor boxes” as well as direct donations.
Living Water Church (New Beginnings Food Pantry)
Living Water Church also reaches out a hand up to those who have everyday needs on the third Saturday of each month at a new time, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The New Beginnings Food Pantry is open to the public for all those in need of assistance with food and groceries. Residents of Mount Olive, Hackettstown, Chester, Long Valley and the surrounding tri-county area are welcome to visit LWC and receive a free shopping cart full of groceries for the family. Patrons are given an opportunity to shop and choose their groceries from a variety of food products, including frozen chicken, meats, foods, cereals, condiments, snack foods and personal care items. Enjoy fresh produce, bakery, meats and dairy items from our friends at Weiss markets in Mansfield.

St. Joseph's Food Pantry
In response to the Lord's mandate: "When I was hungry you gave me to eat" (Matthew 25:35) our parish community is proud to be the largest food pantry in Sussex County, providing food for 450-500 people each and every fourth Sunday of the month between 1:30-3:30pm (anyone with a Newton Township address is welcome to come).

Washington Community Food Pantry
The mission of the Washington Community Food Pantry is to assist and provide supplement food to the needy in the Washington, New Jersey area, who have been impacted by financial problems as a result of unemployment (lay-offs and/or downsizing), divorce, disability, health, domestic violence, homelessness, disaster, aging, and rising cost of living.
We gather, store and distribute goods to those who find themselves in time of special need and crisis. Our mission is based on a compassionate hand out and hand up as we respect the dignity of each person we serve.
