DVRS Students in Transition from School to Work

This program is for students that are within two years of graduation or exiting from the school system with a defined disability, who will need further assistance after graduation in order to maintain employment in the adult community.
The general scope of DVRS services includes:
- vocational counseling and guidance
- job placement assistance
- post-secondary education
- vocational skills training
- job coaching
- supported employment
- hearing loss services
- psychological and cognitive services
- prosthetic and orthotic devices
- assistive technology tools
- other services required by individuals to achieve their vocational goals
Eligibility | A student may apply to DVRS within two years of the anticipated graduation. The rehabilitation counselor will meet with the student and evaluate eligibility. |
