SAFE in Hunterdon

Our mission is to cultivate safety, empowerment and healing in an alliance with the adults, teens and children affected by domestic and sexual violence while mobilizing the community to promote social change that will reduce power-based violence, control and oppression.

Domestic violence and sexual assault agency providing counseling to victims and their families. Additional services include creative arts therapy for children and teens, legal advocacy, professional training and financial empowerment.

SAFE in Hunterdon provides free and confidential services to adults, teens and children who are affected by domestic violence and sexual assault. Our 24 hour hotline is available for information, referral, safe house assessment, safety planning and to receive crisis counseling.  Additional services include, creative arts therapy, counseling, legal advocacy, assistance with restraining orders, and financial empowerment.  Safe services a range of clients including the elderly, LBGTQ, and non-English speaking populations.
