MSW Employment & Training Services is an equal opportunity employer with equal opportunity programs. We promote job seeker services in Morris, Sussex, and Warren Counties for both adults and youth (ages 16-24) by providing unemployed and underemployed workers with information, advice, job search assistance, supportive services, and training within in-demand industries needed to find and retain employment.

ETS is governed by the Morris/Sussex/Warren Workforce Development Board and is authorized to provide grant funding pursuant to the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act. We work collaboratively with other state and local agencies, and the education community to promote a strong economy by building a prepared and competitive workforce. ETS works closely with the NJ Department of Labor One-Stop delivery system to assist communities, educators, businesses, and job seekers (e.g., adults, dislocated and transitioning workers, disadvantaged youth, veterans, older workers, individuals with disabilities, migrant and seasonal farmworkers, and others) compete in a changing global economy.

Provides the following employment services in Morris/Sussex/Warren counties: 

Job Seekers: ETS also offers assistance to job seekers who want to return to work through a variety of job search offerings at our ONE-STOP CAREER CENTERS:

  • Information is provided on labor market and labor demand occupations;
  • Staff available to match job seekers with open, available jobs;
  • Use of computers and other resource materials for job searching;
  • Workshops: Latest job searching tools and strategies for landing your next job;
  • Job Fairs: Employers with job openings actively recruiting at the One-Stop offices;
  • Career Connections: Register for job matches;
  • Information about unemployment insurance.

Job Training: ETS has a variety of training services designed to enhance the skills of job seekers, offering the most up-to-date training programs. THESE SERVICES ARE FREE!

Grant Program

  • Receive up to $5,000 in grant funding to attend a job or career training program
  • Take up-to-date training at a school setting or online
  • Training programs and descriptions are listed at njtopps.org
  • If collecting unemployment benefits, you may be eligible to collect additional unemployment benefits during training
  • Receive industry-recognized credentials upon completion of a training program

On-the-Job Training (OJT) Program

  • Employers will train on the job for open positions in their companies
  • Trainees will be paid an employers’ going hourly rate while in training
  • Employers are reimbursed up to $5,000 for training on the job

Online Learning

  • Opportunity to take business, computer, IT courses, or healthcare courses and more

Microsoft Office Applications

  • NJ Board-Certified Instructor-led classes include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
  • 8-week computer course that provides skills at the intermediate level
  • Training preps for Microsoft certification in Word or Excel

Basic Computer Skills

  • Learn basic computer skills essential for today’s workplace
  • NJ-Board Certified Instructor-led classes include instruction in most up to date computer skills

Tuition Waiver Program

  • Take college courses TUITION FREE at any New Jersey state or county college

Youth (16-24) 
Training and Other Services for Young Adults, ages 16-24 years.

  • GED/HSE Preparation—get help completing your GED/High School Equivalency diploma
  • Instruction and tutoring leading to GED/HSE
  • Information, guidance, and counseling on jobs, careers, and more
  • Job Skills Training to help you get a job
  • Training programs and descriptions are listed at www.njtopps.org
  • Mentoring—partner with an experienced counselor who will share knowledge about how to get and keep a job and other insights on working
  • On-the-Job Training—get a job with an employer who will train and pay you
  • Additional services may be available, such as financial help in obtaining a driver's license, transportation, and child care.

Youth One-Stop Career Centers
Centers for young adults to find support in meeting their educational and career goals. Centers are located in:
