Addressing the Unique Legal and Financial Needs of Special Needs Families

The following topics will be discussed: Estate planning techniques, when planning for a child with special needs, how to protect a child receiving government benefits so that they are never disqualified, special needs trusts, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), and Medicaid, and Q&A.

Learn how the IEP impacts placement, the legal requirements for Least Restrictive Environment and the value of the inclusion of children with disabilities for all children, their families, and communities.

All workshops and support groups are FREE and open to the Public! Workshops are subject to change and cancellation. Seating is limited and registration is recommended. Individuals who have preregistered will be notified of changes/cancellations. Please call the Family Support office at 908.223.1191 to confirm the date, time and location of the workshop if you wish to attend but have not preregistered.
